media's story doesnt add up....

This is an email I received:

I am passing on this information because one of our fellow Muslims is being accused of a crime that he may not have committed, as SFC Donald Buswell said below: "This sounds like Maj. Hasan has been used and perhaps a patsy." Rule of thumb, look over the news with a fine tooth comb when it involves a Muslim; all we want is the truth and nothing but the truth.

The article was published in the San Francisco Examiner.

Was-salamu alaykum,

Any topic that can be construed as a conspiracy theory is a writers' worst nightmare. That label has negative connotations and writing about anything that can be put in that category usually creates more problems than it is worth. It generates hate mail from both sides of the political spectrum and that is a headache that most writers would rather not deal with.
One of the ironies in dealing with the plethora of information that is available through print, television and electronic media is that it often does not add up and at times is contradictory. The more information there is, the more inconsistencies that can be found. That does not make any topic a conspiracy theory, it just makes it what it is...questionable. A good example is what allegedly happened at Ft. Hood last week.
For the record, any theories regarding what happened at Ft. Hood are up to readers to make. This commentary will not try to tell you what happened, but the information at hand does suggest what did not happen. Yet again it is the "official" story that should be questioned. You can come to your own conclusions. I must, however, start with a few conversations I have had with ex-military personnel since the incident.
After the horrible massacre at Ft. Hood, I spoke with a few people who served in the military. A retired army Capt. who served 7 years in the 173rd Airborne including time as a S-3 in a RSTA squadron said this: "There is no way a psychiatrist - basically an intellectual desk jockey - shot off hundreds of rounds with two pistols and hit about 40 people without being subdued by someone. Come on! He wasn't a trained assassin or a special ops commando shooting up a mall. He would have had to reload and that means putting one of the pistols down and reloading the other with seasoned combat vets in that deployment center. It only takes seconds to reload, but it only takes a second to subdue him."
A retired MP, Michael Martinez also said: "No way! That would be impossible. Even if he had two semi-auto pistols [according to early reports he used a 9mm and a .357 revolver to gun down over 40 people] he would still have had to stop to reload and someone would have jumped his ass. Most people on base aren't carrying [weapons], but MPs are and they would have been there in a heartbeat."
SFC Donald Buswell said, "I spent 10 years at Ft Hood. There is no way this 'official' story is legitimate. No way would a room full of combat vets allow this one shooter to get off over 100 rounds! And, it is not normal for the outside security guards to be there. They are at the MP station, and at the main gates. This means the room full of soldiers processing must have been pinned down; multiple shooters is the only plausible scenario. This sounds like Maj. Hasan has been used, and perhaps is a patsy."
Michael Gaddy, an army veteran of Vietnam, Beirut and Grenada writes: "The facts as presented by the Army and the media [about] the shooting at Fort Hood just don’t compute. People on the ground have told me cell phone towers were jammed to prevent unauthorized dissemination of information after the shooting."
A look at these articles in chronological order paints a very confusing picture. I am not even going to speculate on what really happened at Ft. Hood, but my bovine excrement meter is maxing out at the official story. I encourage you to read and come to your own conclusions.
Lori Price, writing for Citizens for Legitimate Government, did an excellent job of compiling articles from the media that came out in the early moments and the aftermath of the shootings. Here are some of her articles as well as some that I have found.
Nov. 5, 2009: Lt. Gen. Bob Cone, the commander of III Corps, said that at least one gunman opened fire at the base's Soldiers Readiness Processing Center where soldiers were receiving medical and dental exams prior to deployment. The gunman's fire was returned (Cone did not say by whom) and the gunman was killed. "The shooter was killed. He was a soldier. We since then have apprehended two additional soldiers who are suspects, and I would go into the point that there were eyewitness accounts that there may have been more than one shooter."
Nov. 5, 2009: CNN reports that a senior officer who was playing golf near Fort Hood, Texas, told CNN he witnessed the arrest of one of the two surviving suspects of the shooting at the Army installation. After being told by MPs to clear the area, he ducked into a nearby house for cover as 30 to 40 cars carrying more MPs approached. He said he saw a soldier in battle-dress uniform, his hands in the air. The MPs ordered him to lie on the ground and open his uniform, presumably to ensure he was not carrying explosives, the senior officer said. He said an MP told him that authorities considered the man to be a suspect in the shootings after having overheard the man say he was with the shooter. The man was surrounded for 25 to 30 minutes, until a convoy of vehicles arrived, led by a Ford Crown Victoria and carrying men in suits, and he was taken away, the senior officer said.
Nov. 5, 2009: In an interview with Fox News, a man claiming to be the suspect's cousin, Nader Hasan, said that Major Hasan considered an upcoming deployment to Iraq "his worst nightmare." Nader Hasan added that his cousin wasn't violent, telling Fox News: "He wasn't somebody who even enjoyed going to the firing range." It was unclear whether Hasan acted alone. Lt. Gen. Cone said three soldiers who'd been taken into custody as possible accomplices had been released.
Nov. 5, 2009: Federal law enforcement officials say the suspected Ft. Hood shooter had come to their attention at least six months ago because of internet postings that discussed suicide bombings and other threats. He is a graduate of Virginia Tech University, where he was a member of the ROTC and earned a bachelor's degree in biochemistry in 1997. He received his medical degree from the military's Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Md., in 2001. At Walter Reed, he did his internship, residency and a fellowship.

Nov. 5, 2009: The New York Times reports: Clad in a military uniform and firing an automatic pistol and another weapon, Major Hasan, a balding, chubby-faced man with heavy eyebrows, sprayed bullets inside a crowded medical processing center for soldiers returning from or about to be sent overseas, military officials said. The victims, nearly all military personnel but including two civilians, were cut down in clusters, the officials said. Three other soldiers, their roles unclear, were taken into custody in connection with the rampage. The office of Representative John Carter, Republican of Texas, said they were later released, but a Fort Hood spokesman could not confirm that.
Nov. 6, 2009: Army psychiatrist Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, about to be deployed to a combat zone overseas, shouted a religious slogan in Arabic before going on the rampage at the Central Texas base Thursday, the base commander said. Lt. Gen. Robert Cone said that witnesses heard Hasan exclaim "Allahu Akbar!" before opening fire. The phrase means "God is great!" in Arabic. Early Thursday, Hasan showed no signs of worry or stress when he stopped at 7-Eleven for his daily breakfast of hash browns, said Jeannie Strickland, the store's manager. “He came in (Thursday) morning just like normal,” she said.
Nov. 6, 2009: CNN, however, claims he was wearing religious clothing and supposedly has a video to prove it. Federal law enforcement officials then told the Associated Press that Hasan had come to their attention at least six months ago because of Internet postings that discussed suicide bombings and other threats. CNN also reports that Hasan used a FN 5.7-millimeter pistol, a semi-automatic with a high-velocity 20-round capacity (unlike a 9mm) purchased legally at Guns Galore, a Killeen gun shop and another gun, identified only as a type of revolver. The high casualty rate is attributed to the "more than 100 rounds" fired by the gunman and the relatively small size of the room. More than 100 rounds fired means Hasam would have had to reload at least five times in close quarters with combat veterans surrounding him.
Nov. 6, 2009: From the Guardian UK. Ford Hood's deputy base commander, Colonel John G Rossi, said about 500 soldiers were in the area when Hasan entered the facility wearing a military uniform. He shot some victims at close range and others were injured as the bullets ricocheted, Rossi said. Troops are not allowed to carry firearms on the base and armed military police quickly swarmed to the scene. The base went into lockdown for several hours amid fears other gunmen were involved.
Nov. 7, 2009: The LA Times reports, Hasan, who had prayed at his mosque that morning, allegedly mumbled something to himself -- it may have been a prayer -- then jumped up. Witnesses reported that he said: "Allahu akbar," Arabic for "God is great." Inside the Readiness Center, Pfc. Marquest Smith, 21, was in a cubicle, across the desk from an employee, finishing paperwork ahead of his deployment in January to Afghanistan. Smith dragged several victims outside and returned to help others. He kept hearing popping. Then a pause. Then whispers: "He's reloading!" Smith saw the gunman, whose back was to him. He ran outside. The gunman fired after him. It takes seconds to place a new magazine into a pistol's grip; the gunman reloaded more than once, investigators said, and moved around the crowded room in a half-moon pattern before going outside into a courtyard.
Nov. 7, 2009: AP report claims that at least six months ago, Hasan came to the attention of law enforcement officials because of Internet postings about suicide bombings and other threats, including posts that equated suicide bombers to soldiers who throw themselves on a grenade to save the lives of their comrades. They had not confirmed Hasan is the author of the posting, and a formal investigation had not been opened before the shooting, said law enforcement officials who spoke on condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to discuss the case. Federal authorities seized Hasan's computer Friday during a search of his apartment in Killeen, Texas, said a U.S. military official who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the ongoing investigation.
Confusing enough yet? Now let's simplify it:
Major Nidal Malik Hasan prayed at the same mosque as two of the September 11 terrorists, according to a report published in the Sunday Telegraph. According toABC news, U.S. intelligence agencies were aware months ago that Hasan was attempting to make contact with an individual associated with al Qaeda, two American officials briefed on classified material in the case told ABC News.
Now there are a few problems. The first is that if Hasan was being watched for six months and intelligence agencies knew of his ties to a radical cleric, why didn't anyone do anything about him before he shot up an army base? Is domestic spying worthless? (rhetorical question). Secondly, a search of his computers by law enforcement agencies revealed no communications with any terrorist organizations, and it is safe bet that all of his cell phone records, electronic transactions and everything else about his life have been scrutinized by now. Yet nothing? And thirdly, he's still alive and not talking. Not again mentioning the supposed fact that one highly trained desk jockey managed to fire hundreds of rounds from a semi-auto pistol and a revolver, hitting over 40 people, some of them repeatedly, in a building full of combat-trained soldiers.
Sounds to me like the intell boys have a lot of explaining to do. My bovine excrement meter is off the chart... How about yours?

you call this dawah?

Praise turns to anger at Ft. Hood killer Nidal Malik Hasan's apartment complex

The murderous major lived so close to Fort Hood he didn't need an alarm clock - he was awakened every morning by a bugler playing reveille.

Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan bunked at the Casa De Norte complex in Apartment 9, three blocks from the base where the feds say he massacred 13 people.

Hasan paid $325 a month for a modest one-bedroom pad on the second floor that looks out on a small courtyard.

Hasan's landlord considered him a great tenant because he paid the rent six months in advance.

Now building manager Alice Thompson hopes Hasan rots.

"Hasan betrayed everyone," she said. "Hasan was a disgrace."

Shortly after the slaughter, red roses and prayer candles sprung up in the courtyard under Hasan's window.

When tenants complained, Thompson quickly added some American flags so "there would be no mistaking who this memorial is for."

Neighbors said Hasan told them he was being deployed overseas and cleaned out his apartment before the rampage, giving away his furniture along with several copies of the Koran.

Personal Note: What was the point of giving the Quran to your neighbors, but killing your fellow man? For starters, neither will be reading it, and those that are alive will never see Islam the way he wanted. How sad, he didnt even bother to give dawah to anyone in the proper manner as the prophet (saws) would before he decided to slaughter those unarmed people. At least in a war zone your opponent has the opportunity to defend themself. The prophet (saws) said that if you are fighting someone and they put down their weapon they are no longer a combatant. As Muslims, when we fight a war, the elderly, woman, children, and non-combatants, even the agriculture must be left alone. And now, "Imam" Awlaki proclaims this coward a hero, and that we must all kill for the sake of Islam. Excuse me, but what about taking a non-violent approach if we really want to see results? Allah says that we are to invite others to Islam, not run them off. How many reverts does killing people bring to Islam? None, and we actually lose more Muslims in the act then we do gain. Just because soldiers commit horrible acts against civilians in the world does that mean we forget all our Islamic values? Do we stoop to other people's level, to be like them, to get immediate gratification? Or do we trust in Allah and that what He says He will do will come to pass?

Hasan was especially generous to neighbor Patricia Villa.

In addition to giving her fresh fruit and vegetables, Hasan gave her husband a black wool Harvé Benardjacket, matching dress pants, a white cotton dress shirt and two ties - one red and black; one blue and black.

"I thought he was being nice," she said. Hasan even had the clothes dry-cleaned, and delivered them in the plastic cleaners bag.

"My husband won't put that suit on his body," Villa said. "He doesn't want that man's clothing touching his skin. It's like touching evil."

Villa has plans for the clothes.

"I'm going to sell it on eBay," she said. "I'm going to make me some money."

Shooting at Fort Hood

The world’s largest army base is under lockdown after another gunman, probably third, opened fire on police officials who were trying to catch these three shooters who shot many innocents at the Fort Hood Army Base in Texas.
The officials of FBI are on their route to Fort Hood and will monitor the whole situation there. It is reported that army base of Fort Hood is the largest army base of the world which holds almost 55,000 military personnel. It is reported that almost 12 people are dead in the shooting and almost 32 injured.
They have arrested one alleged man. It is sad because the killers and the victims are all army personnel. The highest officer of the White House, Barrack Obama, is monitoring the situation by himself and with him FBI Officials also have their eyes on the whole situation.
It is said that a 39 years old US Army Officer, Malik Nadal Hussain is the killer of all the victims with his two companions. He was an officer of Major rank and wanted to get out of the army because of the rude behavior of his fellow beings who used to call him “camel jockey” and made fun of his religion and his family background. The other two were had their own problems and wanted to leave the army. All of them were extremely anger and they put their anger out on innocent people.

dont marry an aussie, study says

Study: American Men Make the Best Husbands

Tuesday, August 04, 2009

Many American women may fantasize about foreign men, but the truth is, American men aren’t that bad – especially when compared to Australian men, according to a British study.

Dr. Almudena Sevilla-Sanz from Oxford University in London found that Australian men make the worst husbands and hate helping out around the house. U.S. and British men, on the other hand, don’t mind lending a hand when it comes to housework, the Australian Associated Press reported.

Sevilla-Sanz studied more than 13,000 men and women from 12 developed countries. American men were considered the best husbands, along with men from other “egalitarian” countries such as Norway, Sweden, England and Northern Ireland.

Australian men finished last.

"In egalitarian countries you might, in principle, expect to see women preferring to remain single rather than face the prospect of spending more time doing household chores," Sevilla-Sanz said. "However, this study shows that in egalitarian countries there is less social stigma attached to men doing what was traditionally women's work. For instance, if paternity leave is the social norm, more men take it.”

Sevilla-Sanz’s study, which is titled “Household Division of Labor and Cross-Country Differences in Household Formation Rates,” will be published in the Journal of Population Economics.

wombs soon to be on the transplant list

Scientists: Womb Transplants Could Happen in Two Years

Thursday, October 22, 2009

British doctors have moved a step closer to carrying out what they hope will be the world’s first successful human womb transplant, giving hope to thousands of women who are unable to have children for medical reasons.

London-based surgeons and vets, working with medical teams in New York and Budapest, have performed the first long-term transplants of a uterus with a reliable blood supply in rabbits. If trials on larger animals are successful, the first woman could receive a viable uterus transplant from a deceased human donor within two years, the researchers say.

Richard Smith, a consultant gynacological surgeon at Hammersmith Hospital, West London, said that his team had solved a key problem of how to maintain a regular blood supply to a womb transplanted from a donor rabbit into another, allowing it to survive long enough to carry a successful pregnancy.

The first uterus transplant, carried out on a 26-year-old Saudi woman in 2000, failed when a blood vessel supplying the organ developed a clot, and it had to be removed after 99 days. Maintaining a reliable blood supply has been seen as crucial before the technique — which has also been tried on pigs, sheep, goats and monkeys — can be safely and successfully performed on humans.

The latest study, presented to the American Society for Reproductive Medicine in Atlanta, involved five donor rabbits and five recipients, who were operated on at the Royal Veterinary College in London. The recipient rabbits received a womb using a “vascular patch technique” that connected major blood vessels, including the aorta.

Women with a transplanted uterus would have to undergo in vitro fertilization treatment to achieve pregnancy and give birth by Caesarean section in order to avoid complications such as ectopic pregnancy.

A successful transplant would also be temporary, to avoid the patient having to take immunosuppressant drugs for life, in order to avoid rejection of the womb. But a woman recipient might be given two to three years to conceive and carry a baby or babies before the womb was removed.

Surgeons in New York have already obtained permission to carry out a human trial, after demonstrating that a uterus from a donor can be preserved for up to 12 hours, long enough to perform surgery.

11-Year-Old Gives Birth on Wedding Day, Father Faces Jail Time

Monday, November 02, 2009

An 11-year-old girl has become a mother after going into labor during her wedding to her teenage boyfriend.

Meanwhile, the father of the baby faces jail time.

Kordeza Zhelyazkova was still wearing her wedding dress and tiara when she arrived at hospital and gave birth to little Violeta.

The schoolgirl, from Sliven, Bulgaria, became pregnant within just two weeks of her 11th birthday.

She gave birth last week with 19-year-old husband Jeliazko Dimitrov at her side.

"I'm not going to play with toys any more — I have a new toy now," Kordeza told Britain's News of the World newspaper. "She is so beautiful, I love her. Violeta is the child and I must grow up. I am not going back to school — I am a mother now."

Kordeza met Jeliazko in the playground of her gypsy school when he rescued her from bullies. Their daughter was conceived within a week. Kordeza admitted: "I haven't had sex education classes and I didn't know how to get pregnant. I'd never had a boyfriend and I'd never heard of condoms.

"I didn't know I was pregnant until my grandmother saw I had put on weight. I just thought I'd eaten too many burgers."

The pair had a traditional Roma wedding - but now Jeliazko is facing up to six years behind bars for having sex with a minor.

"I'm scared. I want to look after my wife and child. Instead I may be going to prison," he said.

"I made a mistake but I am not going to apologize for that because now I have beautiful Violeta."

no hats allowed, oh its a headscarf

Clinic Apologizes for Telling Muslim Doctor She Can't Wear Headscarf

Monday, November 02, 2009

DALLAS — A suburban Dallas medical clinic has apologized to a Muslim doctor for telling her during a job interview that she would not be allowed to wear her headscarf while at work.

Dr. Hena Zaki of Plano said Friday that she was shocked when officials at CareNow, which operates 22 clinics in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, told her in person and later by e-mail that a no-hat policy extended to her hijab.

Zaki had been on a tour of a CareNow clinic in Allen, Texas, two weeks ago when she said the regional medical director told her he didn't want her to be surprised about the policy during orientation.

"He interrupted the interview and said he didn't want me to take this the wrong way," Zaki said. "Like an FYI."

Zaki demanded an apology and a change in CareNow's policies to accommodate expressions of religious belief — "whether it be a turban or facial hair."

On Friday, CareNow President Tim Miller told the Associated Press: "I would apologize for any misunderstanding, definitely ... but I don't really feel like there is anything that we did that is wrong and our policy is wrong."

The next day, as reported by MyFoxDallas/Fort Worth, Miller wrote in a statement:

"We apologize to Dr. Zaki for the misunderstanding. We will clarify our policy, and will continue our ongoing sensitivity training."

"Care Now has made religious accommodations for employees in the past," he said, adding that the company is interested in "sitting down with Dr. Zaki and discussing a job."

CareNow says it does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, religion or national origin when making employment decisions. The Civil Rights Act requires companies to make accommodations for employees' religious beliefs.

Zaki, who's searching for her first job after recently finishing her residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, has worn her headscarf since age 14 and said other places she's worked have not had a problem with it.

"It's not a hat," she said. "It's not sports memorabilia."

for the love of God LEAVE before it gets this bad!

NY wife: Religious friction led to spouse slashing

NEW YORK — A devout Muslim woman told police she slashed her husband's neck with a kitchen knife as he slept because he forced her to eat pork, wear short skirts and drink alcohol in violation of her religious beliefs.

Rabia Sarwar, 37, pleaded not guilty to attempted murder and was freed on $25,000 bail. She told police in a written statement that she was emotionally abused by her husband, Seikh Naseem.

"He made me do so many things that are against Islam," she wrote in a statement to police.

"I did all that just to make him happy but inside me there was a war," she continued.

Naseem suffered cuts to his neck, cheek and hand early Wednesday before fighting Sarwar off and dialing 911 from his Staten Island home, authorities said.

"I did my best to cut his throat," Rabia Sarwar wrote. "But the next moment he jumped on me and grabbed me."

Sarwar's attorney, Joe Licitra, said she had previously been treated for depression. Her husband told the New York Post that Sarwar, a native of Pakistan, was having a hard time adjusting to American culture.

"There was no gun pointed to her head to do these things," Naseem told the Post.

Calls to Naseem by The Associated Press went unanswered.

Sarwar's statement to police paints a picture of a frustrated, confused woman angry that her husband of five months was not what he appeared to be during their brief courtship. Naseem went to her family to ask for a bride and she agreed to marry him, she said in her statement.

But after they were wed, she discovered he had previously dated mostly "white" women, had been married before and liked to go out to drink, she wrote. He said he was Pakistani and a devout Muslim, but in New York he claimed he was half-Pakistani and half-Norwegian, as well as a Unitarian Christian, she said.

He often yelled and cursed her family, she said, and one of his favorite writers was Salman Rushdie, author of "The Satanic Verses," which caused violent protests by Muslims in several countries because the book was perceived as an irreverent depiction of the Prophet Muhammad.

"He hates Pakistan and he hates Pakistanis then why did he marry a Pakistani girl?" she wrote.

They fought about her leaving, and he threatened to hurt her family, saying they would have to pay him $30,000 or he would sue them and leave them penniless and homeless, she wrote. Her family is in Pakistan.

She lay in bed that evening thinking her only way out was to kill him, she wrote.

Police said they had never visited the house on any domestic dispute calls.

Sarwar also pleaded not guilty Thursday to second-degree assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

According to Sarwar's statement, Naseem was working on getting her green card, but her parents had apparently started the citizenship process for her a few years before. She is not a U.S. citizen and could face deportation, depending on the outcome of the case.

Her next court date is Monday.
